Local Flower Deliveries

I am no doubt a HUGE extrovert, and if you are anything like me, the idea of not getting to see your friends/family in person for months, is a very overwhelming thought. I’m also learning that working at home is not necessarily my strength. I keep thinking about how much it would likely lift my spirits to look up and see a fresh bouquet of flowers!

SO! I’ve decided I’m going to do some no-contact flower deliveries for you fine people! I had planned on doing Easter bouquets for you, but I know it is likely a lot of us will not be having big Easter dinners. So, I will still be doing these deliveries on Easter weekend, but now my goal is geared towards bringing you some kind of joy amongst these difficult times. Allow me to share with you a couple reasons for why you should buy a bouquet for yourself or someone else during this time!

  1. According to a behavioural study conducted at Harvard University, flowers have the power to help chase away anxiety and blues while at home. The study also found that people around flowers at home were more enthusiastic, and had more energy for work.

  2. A devastating amount of fresh flowers are being thrown away due to lack of buyers, so purchasing a bouquet helps our local flower farmers who are struggling amidst this COVID-19 outbreak.

  3. What a cool way that you could encourage/surprise a friend or family member who is having a hard time with all of this! Or maybe you want to gift a bouquet to a friend/family member who is a health-care worker or a grocery store clerk.

SO! Here’s how it works -

You can email me, send me an Instagram DM, Facebook message, or go on to the SAY HI page and select the flower delivery option. When contacting me, please specify the colour scheme you would like, and indicate the location/time preference of where/when you would like your bouquet to be dropped off. Deliveries will happen on April 11th & 12th!

I will draw up an invoice for you, and will accept payment via E-transfer only. Sorry, I won’t be accepting cash!

E-transfers sent to holly@whatincarnation.net

I have 4 color scheme options for you to choose from!

  1. Burgundy

  2. Sunshine Yellow

  3. Hot pink

  4. Coffee tones

Bouquets are $40 each+PST. I will deliver from Chilliwack to Langley. Delivery in Abbotsford is free, outside of Abbotsford there will be a small delivery fee. If you buy a second bouquet (maybe to give to someone else!) the second bouquet will be $30+PST!

COMMITMENT TO HEALTH PRE-CAUTIONS

  • Flowers are ordered ahead of time and picked up from United Flower Growers via a newly implemented drive-through pick up system for COVID-19 precautions, to avoid customer traffic inside the building.

  • I will be on top of washing my hands/working on clean surfaces, as well as wearing gloves while processing the flowers

  • I will be doing no-contact drop offs, we will arrange a decided drop off time, and I will bring the arrangement right to your doorstep!

I can’t wait to make flower magic for you!!
